The MCA’s are over… for some people.
The ASA elementary and middle school took on the MCA’s these past two weeks, and everyone did great! The 5th and 8th graders have the science MCA’s still coming up soon.
As students, the pressure may feel all on them, but the MCA’s don’t reflect the students as much as it does the teachers. Now, our teachers work hard to teach us and to do their job in educating us as students. The thing is, it’s how their students do on the MCA’s actually affects them more than their everyday work. Just to add to the stress that they have, all they get to do during the MCA’s is walk around in circles for an hour and a half. I mean, we all know how walking in circles while waiting for your work to be evaluated can either be calming or even more stressful (depending on the type of person someone is)! Anyway, great job to all the students and teachers.
P.S. Students, remember, your teachers are way more stressed than you are!
