There was music flying through the air at the Art and Science Academy (ASA) Elementary school on Thursday May 8th, starting at 7:00pm. ASA’s yearly spring concert with 5-8 middle school bands, middle school choir, and the fourth grade recorders was filled with nostalgia, including the theme songs from throughout the decades.
The concert lasted for almost two hours and started with a fourth grade recorder performance. The fourth graders played songs such as “Hot Cross Buns.” The fifth and sixth grade band played afterward, followed by the seventh and eighth grade band. The night ended with the choir performing songs from The Greatest Showman.
