The Monster Bash dance happened on Thursday, October 9th from 5 to 7 p.m at the Art and Science Academy Middle School.
The dance had lots of entertainment options to choose from. There was a fortune teller who read your palm and answered your questions about the distant future, a halloween-themed arts and crafts station, concessions, including pizza, soda, and candy bars.
There were also games such as musical chairs, limbo, and a paper towel mummy challenge. Casey Davidson won musical chairs, Roman Wright won limbo, and a group of 7th graders won the mummy wrap; prizes were handed out to the winners. This was the first ASA school dance with large group games. There was also a costume contest and the winner for 7/8 grade was Evelyn Johnson, and the 5/6 grade winner was Ellery Schoerer. They were both awarded Pringles and a soft blanket.
