You might be shrugging off climate change because it doesn’t affect you, but you’d be wrong. You might have noticed that the weather in many places is changing, even in Minnesota. Temperatures are rising, our natural resources are drying out, and the number of catastrophic storms is climbing. Here’s how you can help the earth to prevent climate change from progressing: Adjust your diet. This might sound a little confusing but changing what you eat will help the earth. If you eat even a little less meat and dairy, you reduce your carbon footprint, and are actively helping the earth. Another thing you can do is change your method of transportation. Walking, or biking places instead of riding in a car helps a lot. 100 people could travel by bicycle for the same amount of energy it takes to drive one car. So even if you think you can’t help the Earth you can. We can still reverse what we’ve done for at most another 4 years but it gets harder every day so start now!
