The swim meet was on Sunday November 10th. It took place at the University Of Minnesota. A swim-meet is a place you go to watch swim teams. First you warm up by swimming laps around the pool and diving off the blocks. My team and I waited for our time to swim. You register online for what you want to swim, you can do breaststroke, backstroke and freestyle. I waited for my time to swim. I dived into the pool and my goggles fell off, so I had to swim with my eyes open. I got DQ (DQ is when you do the wrong stroke or do something wrong,) I finished my race, got out of the pool and went to a different pool, to cool down and swim for a little bit so my muscles wouldn’t tense up. I went to the bench where my team was and waited for my next race. I got called up to race, went on the block and dove into the water, I swam 100 yards. Then I finished, got out of the pool, got dressed and went home.
