The Art and Science Academy seventh grade students, including a few 8th graders, were invited to go to the Guthrie Theater on the 26th of November. Kids got to go on a bus ride from ASA to Minneapolis, Minnesota. The 7th and 8th graders were greeted with tall glass double doors, and went up a very long escalator. As soon as you got off the escalator you were given a ticket and a seat number once you sat down, they gave an introduction saying: No talking, only clapping at certain moments, no phones and only bathroom breaks at intermission. The acting during the play was amazing according to students. The most notable part for many was Christmas Future, he looked like a rotten skeleton who did not speak to scrooge and was very frightening at the end. There was applause for all the actors, some even gave a standing ovation. Many students will not forget that play.
