If you’re a Vikings fan, you’re probably aware that our current Quarterback, Sam Darnold, is going to enter free agency this offseason. Of course, we would need a quarterback still, so who will they be? Will JJ McCarthy come back?
Well, we do have JJ McCarthy, but he will need some so-called “insurance”, so if he gets hurt again or if something else happens, they will need someone else to back him up (besides the backups we have already). Sam Darnold was the replacement that the Vikings had for JJ McCarthy, and now Sam Darnolds leaving, so… yeah, time is weird. Some of the backups that the Minnesota Vikings have in line to backup McCarthy are Daniel Jones, Trey Lance, and even Jimmy Garoppolo! Even though we got kicked out of the playoffs in a disappointing loss of a game, we at least have next season!
