In case you were unaware, February 11th was “International Day Of Women and Girls In Science,” so if you didn’t celebrate it this year, here is a little more information about it for next year. Well this year was actually a big year for this day as 2025 held the day’s 10th anniversary. One of the reasons why this day is so important is because STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) has always had a big gap between the genders, and who was pursuing it. STEM was pretty male dominated for a while, but with days like this one we can appreciate the women in the field. The United Nations made this an official International Day in 2015, and it’s still going strong.
