On November 11th, 2024 it was Veterans day. ASA had a program where all veterans or people that have vets in their family or that just wanted to come, had the chance to come to ASA. Some student council members, (Sheridan Breeding, Arietta Bellefy, Rayna Snyder, Clare Snyder, Tedarian Ekstedt, Aria Traczyk, Henry Shatek, Lainey Larson, Elias Kotilia, and Liam Whitman,) had a project to speak in the program. The VFW was there and most veterans were there. The 7th and 8th grade band played the Star Spangled banner and the choir sung. Daniel Schoening sang a solo at the beginning and Layla Weatherspoon sang a solo at the end. Ambellina Wilson talked about how she had some of her family in the army. Rayna, Clayre, and Felicity Snyder talked about how life being a military kid is.

Aria Traczyk (Reporter, Photographer) is in 8th grade. She loves to play softball, basketball, piano and sing. Aria really wants to learn how to play guitar so she can play and sing a song at the same time. She likes to hang out with her friends and loves to go on bike rides to the park. Aria has four cats, Evie, Tuts, Tux, and Willow, and two dogs, Otis and Zeppelin. Aria thinks she's more of a dog than a cat person, but she still loves her cats a lot. She wants to be in Newspaper because she wants to interview people and write about their opinion and what they think.
