If you’re like me, then you have no problem reading a book in a weekend just for fun, but I understand that not everybody likes reading, a couple tips for getting into reading are: find a book that piques your interest. I know this may seem obvious but it’s very important. If you’re into romance books then go find a romance book. Some great ones are The Do-Over and Better Than The Movies by Lynn Painter if you like fast-paced books, but if you like romance more as a sub-plot then I would recommend the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. I’ve liked these books since 4th grade and they’re amazing. It’s a slow burn romance. Another tip is to set a reading goal. You can start it small and then continue it so it gets bigger, as you get more and more into reading. A good goal to start with is 20 pages a night. Before you know it you will have finished the book. Studies show that reading makes you less stressed out, increases your vocabulary, and makes your brain healthier. Reading before bed especially reduces your stress levels and improves your sleep quality making you happier and enjoy life more.
