Starting at the beginning of April 2025 Tornadoes and flash flooding have impacted the midwest and south. Many peoples lives have been risked because of how bad the weather has gotten. According to ABC News “The multi-day outbreak of tornadoes, torrential rain and flooding that killed at least two dozen people across the Midwest and South was caused by a storm system that stalled and hovered over the same area for long periods of time, according to the National Weather Service.” Since Wednesday there have been 26 river gauges in major flood stages. In the states Kentucky, Tennessee, Missouri, Georgia, Arkansas, Mississippi and Indiana at least 24 people have died according to officials. On April 4th in Tennessee there was a EF3 tornado with winds up to 160 mph.
