My family and I went to the dead end hayride in Wyoming MN on Thursday October 23. My father and I went onto the dead end hayride and my mother and brother went on the pumpkin trail.
The first thing I saw when I got in line were the scare actors. None of the scare actors scared me but I saw the scare actors scare a bunch of other people in the line. The scare actors get an 8/10 from me, there were only 3 of them and they only scared 3 people out of the 10-15 of us there. Also I didn’t see my favorite scare actor, Voodude.
The hayride itself was only 15-20 minutes long, and obviously they pulled the same trick they do every year with the button underneath your seat if you get scared, (it’s not there.) The hayride was calm until we got to the barn; there was a whole small show and actors getting onto the wagon. The hayride part gets a 9/10. It needs to be longer and more big booms that scare most of the people on the wagon.
On our journey back the first thing I walked through was a prison. I only got scared twice, once from a scare actor that popped out of nowhere, and a new thing they added, air underneath our legs so it felt like someone was grabbing my ankles. They also added a bunch of new animatronics in the prison. The prison gets an easy 10/10.
In the Dead End Hayride there was also small parts like the car garage, the lab and clown part those were cool but not as interesting as the rest of the hayride so 8/10
The second part of the Dead End Hayride is after a small intermission where I saw the clowns and fear rooms. With the fear rooms you would rather be sent into the dark room or the claustrophobic room. Then there was a spiral room where you walked in and got extremely dizzy. DO NOT GO if you have epilepsy, there are a bunch of flashing lights. A little bit after that part there was a chainsaw room, I acted as calm as possible because I hate chainsaws and when they touch me.
Then we got to the end of the hayride and met back up with my mom and I sadly couldn’t get any merch and I couldnt get a picture with Voodude.
