“What does 67 even mean?” The meme 67 originated from the song “Doot Doot (6 7)” by rapper Skrilla, going viral on social media, and eventually, schools. 67 has, unfortunately for parents, become extremely popular in middle and high school. The meme doesn’t really have an exact meaning, people just say it out of context or when someone says it on accident. It has a hand motion to go with it, where you put your palms out in front of you and move your hands up and down at opposite times, while saying 67.
I personally think that 67 is said too much at once. If people said it less, I think it would be funny. But that’s what happens with memes. They die just as fast as they blow up. My opinion is that it has become just as dumb as most other teen slang, and it has lasted too long. So, if any fellow teens are reading this, here’s my advice for this month: I think that we should make something else popular!
