The Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) season begins on November 21, 2025, and it ends April 25, 2026 with all teams playing 30 regular season games.
This year there are two new teams, Vancouver Goldeneyes and Seattle Torrent. This year, all the teams are Vancouver Goldeneyes, Seattle Torrent, Minnesota Frost, New York Sirens, Boston Fleet, Montreal Victoire, Ottawa Charge, and Toronto Sceptres.
The PWHL is a relatively new hockey league, it started two years ago. This year is the 3rd year of the PWHL. They have a trophy, just like the NHL, and it’s called the Walter Cup. The Minnesota Frost has won both years of the PWHL.
This hockey league is growing! It would also be very nice to support the PWHL by buying jerseys, and going to their games.
