The Middle School Art Show was on December 17th 2024 from 5:30- 6:30pm. There were a lot of projects on display from 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. Mrs. Stuckey stated in a recent interview that she was “very proud” of how the art show went. The next Art and Science Academy Middle School art show will be in February. If you have photos Mrs. Stuckey would love to see them. Send your photos to: [email protected] One of the projects names was fractured portraits which is the project in the photo above. Fractured portraits consisted of a drawing of somebody they admire, and what’s associated with them.

Reed Silsby (Reporter) is 12 going on 13 years old and is in 7th grade. This is her first year in Newspaper. Reed likes playing D-n-D with friends. Her season is fall/Autumn and her favorite spice is Pumpkin. Reed joined Newspaper Class because it seemed interesting.
Sheridan Breeding, Editor in Chief
Sheridan Breeding (Editor-in-Chief) is an 8th grader. She has been attending ASA since Kindergarten. Sheridan is Student Council President. She enjoys reading, going for runs, learning about Greek mythology, playing the Saxophone, and participating in activities like the Spring Musicals, Haunted Hallway, and Debate. Sheridan has two siblings who are both ASA graduates. Sheridan is interested in journalism because she finds it very fascinating.
