Recently, in The Golden State of California, extreme weather conditions have hit harder than they have in a long time.  Extreme wild-fires overwhelmed the area of Los Angeles and San Diego County, according to Wikipedia.  The total of the massive and destructive wildfires topped out at 14, which may not seem like a lot, but when you observe the damage that it caused, it’s no small number.  The wildfires claimed at least 29 deaths, and countless others were injured.  The fires also destroyed more than 15,000 businesses, homes, and several other buildings.  Even several actors and actresses lost their homes in the fires, including Jamie Lee Curtis, Mark Hamill, Billy Crystal, and hundreds of innocent civilians that were just regular joe’s living peacefully.

Following closely behind the fires, floods caused landslides and mudslides, sweeping away more homes and businesses with them.  This is because the land and trees don’t have much to hold onto (because of the damage that the wildfires caused), and a tornado even affected the area.  The citizens of California could use your help, whether that’s donating food and money, or even expressing your sympathy to your friends.
