The Art and Science Academy is committed to creating a welcoming, safe, and focused learning environment for all students. Our dress code balances individual expression with the need for safety, fairness, and minimal classroom distractions.

Core Principles: Fairness. The dress code applies equally to everyone, respecting diverse backgrounds.

Safety: Clothing must not pose any physical risks.

Learning: Attire should minimize distractions to promote concentration.

Specific Guidelines: All clothing must be clean and in good condition. Tops need to cover shoulders and the stomach. Shorts, skirts, and pants should be an appropriate length. Hats and hoods are not allowed.

Prohibited: Clothing with offensive language, inappropriate imagery, or messages promoting rule-breaking or unkindness.

Accommodations: We respect diverse needs. If specific attire is required for religious, health, or other significant personal reasons, please speak with school administrators to arrange accommodations.

Enforcement & Review: Dress code issues will be addressed privately and respectfully. The dress code will be reviewed annually with students, parents, and teachers to ensure it remains relevant and effective for our community.
