The MAMA awards were held in Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Stadium on November 28th-29th; the same one where Stray Kids, an eight member K-pop group, had won their first major MAMA (Mnet Asian Music Awards) Daesang award for their album “Karma,” which won album of the year award. Stray Kids spread their love and gratitude for all seniors and fans for giving them strength and motivation for being there for them.
6 days after the MAMA awards, Stray Kids headed to the National Stadium in Kaohsiung, Taiwan for the AAA (Asia Artist Awards) awards. During the awards, Stray Kids won 8 awards in their time being there. Their massive success became a major highlight this year in K-pop. They have won two Daesang awards; one for artist of the year, and another for album of the year for their album “KARMA.”
Among the other awards they have won Best Artist (Bonsang Award), Best K-pop Record, AAA Popularity Award (fan-voted), Best Producer (3RACHA: the main producers and songwriters for Stray Kids; Bang-Chan, Changbin, and Han), Best Choice (Hyunjin-Stray Kids member), and Grand Presence of K-pop (Felix-Stray Kids member). This overwhelming and powerful moment shocked everyone as Stray Kids became the most awarded in AAA history. This gained much attention as fans spread their love and admiration for Stray Kids.
