On March 10-14th, 2025, 20 students from Art and Science Academy went to New York City for spring break. They went to two Broadway shows. They saw the first preview of Boop the musical (in New York ever!) and Harry Potter and The Cursed Child. They saw so much of NYC. The first night they went to a place called “Hudson Yards Attractions” and specifically went to “The Edge” They visited many places including the Empire State Building, and even central park. After each Broadway show they got autographs. On their fourth day there, they got to go to the Metropolitan Museum Of Art, AKA where the Met Gala is hosted. They got to go inside Juilliard, one of the most prestigious dance schools in the nation. All of the students even got the privilege to meet a Rockette at the Radio City Music Hall, and even go on the stage. Riding the subway was a little more bumpy than most of them expected.
They talked to lots of people and they had lots of fun. They toured Manhattan, China town, Lincoln Square and much more. They did lots of walking down the streets of NYC and got to go shopping in Times Square one night. Their tour guide made sure that they saw everything they could and gave them lots of information. The students even went on a ferry ride to see the beautiful Statue Of Liberty.
